News outlets are refusing to run this plus size ad from Womensuits.com which is owned by David Golshan (Shahs of Sunset and Millionaire Matchmaker.)  here is the Bigger Is Better advert:

Bigger IS Better

Golshan told Dish Nation:

“Our new ad is beautiful and lets women know that bigger is better. For newspapers and media to reject it, while being open to printing tiny bikini model images alongside products, is truly disappointing and our society needs to change!”

Apparently one of the newspapers who rejected the ad is saying they won’t print that ‘type’ of advertisement due to the images being ‘too revealing’ suggesting that in order to be approved the picture with women that are fully clothed.

“Our society is so used to seeing skinny women in bikinis or lingerie to sell products, that the second larger women are placed in ads to sell or promote something, these media outlets get scared,” Teperman told Dish Nation.

“It’s time these media outlets change their views on what ‘beautiful’ is, and change what ‘standard’ content is.”

Would a women looking for a church suit be inspired to check out the website based on models in thong and underwear? I don’t think so! It seems that the Womensuits.com website doesn’t even sell underwear (as shown in the advert) nor do they showcase plus size models. The ‘Bigger is Better’ advert seems to be a mere ploy for more publicity. Well, Dish Nation got me talking and writing about it so it seems to have worked. Will they sell more church suits to plus size women? No idea.

The website also offers a bigger discount for bigger sizes! Have you ever seen anything like this?

Most definitely a ploy. The discounts are also quite horrible to boot. I don’t even have the words to describe what is going on here.

The size doesn’t matter to me in this kind of ad – I don’t want to see that much skin no matter what size the person is.
