I closested this via Gwynnie Bee because it’s a color palette and shape I don’t normally wear. It’s a lot more ‘grown up’and stylish than I normally wear so I thought I’d give it a go and see what it looked like. I think this is considered ‘fall florals’ in the fancy fashion world. To me it kind of reminded me of a chic school teacher so I was all in. See ALL of my Gywnnie Bee looks from my monthly subscription and get yourself a 30 day free trial.
I loved the fun 70s throw pack ‘pussy bow,’ which I’ve never worn before. It’s technically georgette tunic dress with bow-tie at v-neck and three-quarter sleeves, no stretch, allover floral print, fully lined. I have to reiterate the ‘no stretch’ I got this in a 24 and it felt a bit tight around my stomach. It felt a little short too and now I see the pics I’d probably wear my black skirt underneath. This could also be great with leggings.
I had a note from one Big Curvy Love community member, Debroah Fishburn, who challenged me to do more than the standard hands-on-hips poses. I need to pay more attnetion to that. I’m not a model (just a real girl) so I need to try more things. Thanks for the suggestion. This one is for you :)
The fabric is very light for fall so fine for LA but if you’re in a cold and snowy place then you’ll need to team it with tights, long boots, a beret and fun coat. I think it would be totally rocking with that ensemble btw!
