I’ve been in Australia for a few months and have been really missing Gwynnie Bee. As soon as I got back to LA I re-subscribed and have already worn three rental outfits this week. This is a formal Jessica Howard v-neck sheath dress with cap sleeves, an empire waist and jewel embellishment. The more I rent from Gwynnie Bee the more I’m learning new fashion terms. The skirt style is called artichoke! I’ve seen this dress style before but had no idea that was the name.
As a size 24 5″3 plus size pear shape I usually can’t wear a tight sheath dress so I was really pleased with this design and fit. The allover shutter pleated detailing looks great and I found this dress to have a good amount of stretch to it so it didn’t feel tight.
This pic was taken as the sun was setting over the Hollywood Hills on a Friday night and captures the sapphire color nicely.
As the sun went down I couldn’t resist a cheeky Hollywood closeup in my fancy formal dress. My confidence was at a level 10 with this look.
