This is the dress I wore the the Dancing Man party. I felt the event pics didn’t do it justice as you couldn’t see the full length shots so I thought I’d take it for a spin and show you the full effect of this amazing dress.
On the night I wore my hair down but I regret that as you can’t see the fun back detail. It has a sheer illusion cami neck, which means the the straps are built into the dress so be careful if you’re wearing a bra underneath as it can look like double straps. My strapless bra’s underwire busted so I had to wear a regular bra but didn’t mind too much as I think it fits the look. Does my bum look big in this? I hope so!
I am such a big fan of the scalloped-pleated skirt. As long as a dress is cut under the bust then I find really suits my shape plus size 24 pear shape and gives me a lot of confidence around. See all my Gywnnie Bee looks from my monthly subscription and get a 30 day free trial.
This is listed on Gwynnie Bee as a semi-formal fit and flare dress but I’d say it is really formal. I’d be happy to show it off at any snazzy red carpet event or party.
Now whenever I see an artichoke design or anything Jessica Howard I have a look as I’ve had a lot of luck with that combination recently. Here’s another fancy blue dress that has similar features I think was a bit hit.
