I recently did an awesome Mother’s Day post for Gwynie Bee, which reminded me how much I follow my mum’s fashion advice on getting the same style in multiple colors or prints if you love it. That is exactly what I’ve been doing over the years with my Gwynnie Bee subscription when it comes to the Brigitte Dress by Cherry Velvet. Actually this will be my 7th Cherry Velvet dress! Check out the other posts here.

Of course I love to experiment and try new things but I also like adding to my list some sure things that I know will fit, feel good and i’ll love for sure. The classic fit-and-flare dress with scoop neck and set in empire waist suits my plus size pear shape perfectly and I always know its a winner!

The concealed back zip is a nice touch with the fun allover geometric print. I think this is a great spring sundress for a picnic in the park. My favorite feature is the back keyhole detail. I just love it! The classic silhouette has a slightly retro cotton print with a lovely full skirt.

Then my second favorite thing is pockets!
